21-year-old Canadian photographer Elizabeth Gadd has created some of the most enchanting, awe-inspiring landscape photographs I've ever seen.
The self-taught photographer describes her images in unpretentious terms: "I, uh… shoot landscapey stuff… with people in them." True - but what an understatement!
Her approach seems to be to find landscapes which are breathtaking in their own right, and then to incorporate into them solitary wanderers embracing or interacting peacefully with these majestic surroundings. Her respect for nature and her love for travel really shine through in the magical - even haunting - images she creates.
I feel refreshed and inspired...and overcome with wanderlust.

This self-taught artist’s work is an expression of her endless love for nature and traveling, which was inspired by her childhood in the scenic mountains and natural surroundings just outside of Vancouver.
